| It's been a while. Since I posted last, a lot has happened. I've moved home, quit working at Reasor's, started working at Super Target, been to two great weddings, and have gone to Norman several times to see a certain beautiful fiance of mine. This past weekend was amazing. Being in Dallas with many people that mean a lot to me was great. I'm so happy for Jeff and Sarah, and I wish them the best! Also, I would like to say that my fiance was an incredibly beautiful bridesmaid, and I can't wait until a year from now, when it's our turn! | | |
| That's right folks, after I take my Latin American Geography final at 1:30, my third year of college will be over. And, as is my custom, I must comment on how the year has gone. The year started out great. RA job, everything going great, met this awesome girl at a party, and almost immediately felt this crazy attraction towards her. Ended up hanging out with her (a lot), and finally started dating her. End of the first semester, grades come back, I don't do so hot in Macroeconomics, and I have to take a semester off from the RA job. Boo. Next semester, I'm in Cate. It's ok, but I'm back with some old friends. Classes start going much better. Relationship with said awesome girl gets deeper and deeper every day. Eventually, I experience the best moment in my life, when I pull out a ring and get down on one knee, and ask her to marry me. She says yes, and I couldn't be happier. This semester was full of suprises. From having to quit my RA job, to meeting Elaine, to asking her to marry me, to re-developing old relationships. Its been a great year, and I'll be happy and sad to see it go. To everyone: have a great summer. Be safe, have fun, I love you all! | | |
| So, the whole engagement/wedding thing is starting to sink in. As we begin to narrow down dates, pick locations, talk about guest lists, its starting to hit me: "Wow, this is actually happening." Not that it freaks me out, or anything. I'm so glad that it happened, and I wouldn't want it any other way, its just that I'm finally starting to realize that its not a dream, and that this is for real. Its great, but just slightly crazy. Anyone know that feeling? Married/engaged couples? (Jeff and Sarah?) | | |
| Why lucky me? Because I just got engaged to the woman of my dreams. She's absolutely amazing, my perfect match, and she's the one I get to spend the rest of my life with. I love you, Elaine! | | |
| Almost to the weekend...just have to finish this stupid paper. Then, I get to sit back, relax, and enjoy the great weekend that is comming up. | | |
